Practically right after occurrences in Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodrigesa and Guy Ritchi's world cinema, created a new direction at cinema which is characterised by mixture of a black comedy, bloody and frank violence and witty dialogues on гране фола together with magnificent clockwork music, began to breed as the mushrooms of a film simulating works of these masters.

One of such films, «Trump ases» («Smokin ’ Aces») 2006, have been let out in the Russian licence market by company Universal Pictures Rus.

Recently has looked rather curious American psychological thriller of 2007 "Baby" («First Born»), let out on licence DVD the company «Paradise Digital».

The film is put nobody by the known director Isaakom Vebbom who before has removed only one, and those documentary, a picture "Desire". To tell the truth, I have been amazed, having learnt, that such interesting and intense tape as "Baby" has been created by unexperienced film business.

Again it is necessary to change to the rules not to review films-winners of prestigious international festivals, however a picture about which I will write, it is not entered in glamour frameworks of winners of all film awards – it costs above all prizes and is the unique product combining, apparently, things absolutely contradicting each other: realities of bloody and ruthless war with the fantastic world, inhuman cruelty with touching love of the child to the native.

I will tell fairly, I not so like to discuss the films which have received the film award "Oscar", and especially to write on them reviews. First, pictures-winners of this prestigious award always use the big popularity at mass-media, and everyone strives to "immortalise" the opinion on this or that "film prize-winner" on pages of periodicals and on Internet sites. About them it is written already so many that I simply consider as time waste to add something the in this general huge "copper" of universal reviews. Secondly, in the overwhelming majority these films, softly to tell, to me not absolutely approach on genre categories – basically it is melodramas, pseudo-historical tapes, musicals, biopeaks and exclusively politically correct pictures (though also organizers of action it is double-faced открещиваются from giving of ceremony of political character and do not welcome presence of political implied sense in performances of movie stars). I will make a reservation, among them there are the magnificent films really deserving all encouragement, however are available also frankly boring, менторски the fresh director's works playing raised feelings and the aggravated aestheticism of public and that is important, members of the American film academy. I here deliberately do not list the name of films not to draw upon myself just anger of numerous supporters of this or that masterpiece (after all any film which has received "Oscar", everywhere admits a masterpiece, whether not so?).

Rather recently the company «Paradise Digital» has let out on licence DVD the American film of 2006 «Туристас» («Turistas»).

The director of a picture is the universal master on all hands, actor/director/script writer/producer John Stokuell who before has put such films known to the Russian spectator on sea subjects, as «Welcome in paradise» and «the Blue wave».

Following a known principle, that any begun business should be finished to the end, one of these days I have made almost heroic act – having made extreme efforts, have sat out to a final caption the Russian film "Witch" of 2006, let out on licence DVD company Lizard.

The film is removed by director Oleg Fesenko who has earlier created for TV criminal-soap operas «the Cobra anti-terror» and «Multiplying grief», on motives of immortal product of great N.V.Gogol «Вий».

The films which plot is directly connected with snakes, in a world cinema big set. Their genre accessory is rather diverse – from the tapes intended for children, to detectives and "horror films". It is Enough to recollect such pictures as Soviet "Ricky-Tikki-Tavi" of A.Zguridi (1975), "Poison" of Pier Хаггарда (1981), «Ззззмея» Бернарда Ковальски (1973), Luis Losy's "Anaconda" (1997), every possible screen versions of "the Motley tape» Arthur Conan Doyle, etc. On the art value films about these dangerous reptiles also differ – are available both frank hack-work, and quite worthy tapes.

Last years in the West (and at us in Russia too) get the films of the horrors which have been removed in Japan – them even have united the increasing popularity in one special category: J-Horror Films (the truth, for some reason as it rank also films of this genre from Thailand, Korea and other east countries). In my opinion, a principal cause of it is the world recognition of such qualitative Japanese tapes which have appeared in last decade of the given genre as "Call" Хидео Накаты, "Damnation" Такаси Симидзу, «Royal fight» Киндзи Фукасаку, etc. Not last role in propagation of the Japanese cinema including horrors, also talented director Takasi Miike abroad plays, whose creations have the big success in the western public. The number of the American remakes of "horror films" from the rising sun Country grows: are already removed "Call" and «Звонок-2», «Проклятье» and «Проклятье-2», «Dark water» etc.

The American-Czech film of 2006 "Illusionist" («The Illusionist») has been let out on licence DVD by company Twister.

It is possible to argue long on a genre accessory of this picture as in it elements of a drama contain, mysticism, thriller, a detective and an istoriko-political film, but it seems to me, that it should be considered exclusively as a mystical melodrama. The matter is that in the head of a corner the novel between the illusionist who has left bottoms, and the aristocrat having every chance to become by a member of imperial family Габсбургов here is put. It is beautiful history about the all-consuming and passionate love, thrown down time challenge, to the mighty of this world and even the death.

Much to our regret, in a filmland there is a great variety of films which never should be removed. So it would be better for us, dear readers that we for nothing did not spend the money and time for a campaign in a cinema or purchase DVD so it would be better and for founders of a film hand-made article that they did not stain the reputation (if this in general is available). However in a life all happens in another way, and at will of a case sometimes we should look dreadful films from the creative point of view which I simply name "zero".

To such group of films belongs and let out on DVD company "Video service" a picture «I always knew, that you have made last summer» («I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer»).
