The theme of so-called "truthful" histories about evil deeds of maniacs-murderers has found the continuation in a film of 2005 "Zodiac" («The Zodiac»), let out on licence DVD company Twister.

The picture is a child of two brothers Балкли – director Alexander and Kell's who do not have, to put it mildly, in general any experience in creation of art tapes script writer. Much to our regret, this sad fact has clearly affected quality of a film reviewed here. It is quite probable, that Alexander and Kell Balkli's reference to a fertile field of thrillers about serial murderers has been dictated by attempt to make to itself a name in the film industry, not applying thus and a minimum of creative efforts. Following moments could become the major factors predetermining possible success of "Zodiac":

One of the best, in my opinion, films of 2006 «Defensible cruelty» («A History of Violence») has been let out in Russia by company Universal Pictures Rus in the excellent edition, in what not conceding original первозонному. Moreover, the Russian release is similar to the European version which is a little more frank in respect of violence, than the American edition (distinctions between two variants are in detail described in an additional minifilm «violence History: the American and international versions», containing on DVD).

The company «Universal Pictures Rus» has not pleased the Russian film fans, hastily having let out on licence DVD a film «Police of Miami: Department of customs» («Miami Vice») in the "cut down", "budgetary" variant – without анаморфирования, an English sound track and additional materials (by the way, первозонный the release of a picture planned for December, 5th, will include the director's version which is longer let out in Russia for the whole eight minutes).

Film of young American director Toni Dzhilo («the King of football», «U-429: the Underwater prison») "Chaos" («Chaos») has been let out on licence DVD by company Twister.

"Chaos" is rather interesting and "twirled" criminal thriller. In it action and difficult subject courses suffices. The moments, is especially closer to the picture end, you start to be confused a little, trying to understand every possible artful designs of a plot. However if attentively to look a film its unexpected ending can be foreseen.
